assign rewards to epic wins
I'd like to be able to assign meaning to my epic wins - for example, if we could set a reward that pops up when the win is achieved. Right now I don't seem to get anything for winning - just the ability to set a new goal, but no reason to savour the win.

How about using the player assigned icons when the activity shows up?
I get my allies' icon when they do something. I'd like their icon for the activity, not just their ID icon, if possible. The way it shows up in my feed for my stuff.

Create an Asthma Power Pack
In a description of SuperBetter I remember hearing a story of someone who got over using their asthma inhaler daily. Can this be made into a power pack?

Add allies from Twitter and Facebook friends.
I would like to be able to send ally requests to twitter and Facebook friends rather than just via email.
I actually don't know most of the email addresses for some of my better friends online.
12 votesThanks for the suggestion! We’re definitely considering this and other ways to make the ally invite process easier. ~Rose

Make it like a real computer game, with graphics and a character to move around.
When I heard of Super Better as a game, I imagined some sort of computer based gameplay.
I like the idea of turning this into a real computer game, because they are addictive.
You could choose your bad guy, and go to battle with them, it could be like a normal mmorpg fight, except you can use your power-ups.
Using a power-up will pause it until you've done what the power-up said. You then continue and can enter a number for how effective the power up was, hence more damage to the bad guy. When you use a power-up, you could attack with something related to your power-up, so an emotional power-up could give you a 'fury' attack.
By entering a number for how effective your power-up was, you could get a different attack power/animation. Similar to collecting more magic bottles in Golden Axe leads to better/different magic attacks.I'm not sure if this idea is good, please comment if you have anything to say about this idea.
P.S. I think this would be a major challenge to make, so I understand it'd need a LOT of votes to even be conscidered.

Show a "bar" of Award Icons for visual Feedback
My suggestion ist to show a bar of the "highest" achievement / award in categories. So that when you get a new award, it is visible. The list is Ok... I suppose, just to see in toto what you have.
I often miss that I got an award, so the immeadiate Feedback is missing for me. But if the icon were to change in a visible place then the thrill would be immeadiate (yeh- immeadiate gratification.... ;-) )
A further refinement could be to be able to choose the awards categories to display, as well as one, two, three "slots" for the awards given by allies, because they could be awards for things that were particularly good to be reminders of having done/achieved.My suggestion ist to show a bar of the "highest" achievement / award in categories. Organization and Progress
I think it would be great to be able to organize quests according to importance and also to have the ability to have a new quest open up that is linked to a previous quest.
50 votesWe’re working on the ability to click and drag quests around so you can change the order.
Currently, if you have a powerpack, when you complete certain quests you’ll unlock others. Is that similar to what you were thinking?

New strength proposal: Financial (and/or Environmental?)
Gotta tell you--SB is the first method in 51 years (and I've tried LOTS, believe me!) that has me exercising daily, building up strength...and, while I'm at it: remembering to floss daily, pray, take my prescriptions correctly, and a host of other things I usually forgot. As a side effect, I'm also getting more chores done around the house and yard--'cause now they earn me points. YIPPEEEE!!
So, yes: Wider Application of Superbetter. I find myself wanting to make quests that don't quite fit the 4 strengths, many of them financially related. The current strengths are all internal, and I can see why you might want to limit to that...yet, improving your financial health doesn't quite fit under mental, emotion, or social (and certainly not physical). The game would be a wonderful fit for a financial power pack, though...things like:
Quests:
-make a will,
-pay down debt,
-research money savers (how could you save money on what you buy?)
-save money on a bill (take one bill a month and try to whittle it down...use a different provider? request a better rate? use less of it?)
-Reduce, reuse, recycle (avoid buying something you don't really need, repair instead of replace, if it saves money...or find a new use for the item)Power packs:
-Keep the change (save your end of the day change for a rainy day)
-Need or Want? (before you buy anything, consider if it's a need or merely a want...and can you put off buying it for now?)
-Organize your cash (oddly enough, keeping your cash in numerical order, flat or neatly folded, improves the way you feel about money)
-Walk On Bye-Buy (in a store, avoid looking at things you don't need but often buy anyway. I do this when passing a rack of Sour Cream and Cheddar Cheese Ruffles...it improves your willpower with repetition).Bad guys:
-Fight Fast Food (no Starbucks, McD or other FF for the day)
-Impulse Buying (buy nothing that you haven't thought about for at least 48 hours first, or put on a list ahead of time)
-Ignorance is Bliss (find out the specifics of one area of your financial life: amount of debt, interest rates on debt/investments, monthly ins and outs, etc.)These are all just quickie ideas, brainstormed in 15 minutes; I'm sure you could come up with more...but see how they don't fit the strengths very well? And there is a HUGE audience of folks who need to improve their financial attitudes (and standing).
Environmental--we're talking feng shui, here, sort of. Decluttering. Housekeeping: a word that's developed some pretty pedestrian connotations...yet who among us doesn't feel better walking into a room (or yard) that's pleasant and well-organized? Not directly related to the current 4 strengths, yet it can improve all of them, one way or another. If, in some metaphysical way, we are all connected to our environment, then improving our surroundings is part of what might make us SuperBetter, no? A new strength and/or powerpack might be appropriate.
Thanks for coming up with such a kick-ass game--so simple, yet so effective! Your karma points must be maxing out! ;-)

Show only bad guys that have not been vanquished
I do not have many vanquished bad guys, but to see the list shrink as we go would be nice. Maybe have them disappear the following day?

Creating your own
I love creating my own power ups, bad guys and quests but when it comes to choosing which strength they affect the most, a lot of the time I have overlaps.
It'd be great if you worked in the option of being able to assign more than one strength to personal creations.
For example, I have a bad guy, and a power up to tackle him, that affects both my mental and emotional resilience. I'm choosing mental resilience at the moment, but I know that when this baddie gets to me, he rips my heart out, and the power-up to tackle him is a massive, supportive hug.
So. Being able to have dual resilience options would be an awesome addition to creating your own.
Thanks,

Quest / Power Ups / Enemy suggest by Ally
Sometimes, our friends know us better than ourself.
If Ally can pass a quest / power up / enemy to us, we could decide whether to accept, it might be a challenge. Ally could as well set the award for this quest / power up / enemy.
5 votesThis feature is currently available through web! You can accept the activities on mobile, but can’t send them through mobile yet. This is in the plan for a future release. Thanks! Rose

Option to enter info more quickly
I love SuperBetter! However, I have a slow internet connection, I don't love waiting around for pages to load.
It really drags me down and slows down my motivation to use SuperBetter when I have to click on Quests, wait for quests to load, click on a particular quest, wait for it to load, click to say that I've done it and then repeat dozens of times for powerups, bad guys, etc.
I love using SuperBetter as a way to give myself credit for working on goals, for doing difficult things, one small piece at a time. However, what would be a better user experience for me is to have the option to quickly enter powerups, badguys, quests.
For example, it would be wonderful if on the powerups page, there were fill-in boxes, I could type a number next to each one:
Drink water [3]
Physical training exercises [2]
Human tag [6]Then press save once. Instead of going to each power up, pressing it 3 times, waiting for the pages to load each time, going to the next power up, pressing it 2 times, etc.
In other words, I would love to be able to post my progress more quickly so I don't get the page-loading bummer blues.
I know my style is different than other people's styles, I don't know if this would work for other people, but I thought I'd post it.
I'd be much more likely to log in every day if I could quickly update my progress instead of pressing so many buttons and waiting for so many pages to load.

Mood Elevator up, Depression down
I really just wanted to take the time to let you guys know that SuperBetter is helping me combat my depression. I go through depression like waves: for some periods of time, I'm up; then, a random day will come along and bring me crashing down. It's always very difficult for me to get up out of these down times, even though I go to a licensed therapist regularly. This time, however, I'm using SuperBetter, particularly the Mood Elevator power packs. I'm finishing ground floor now and moving on to the first floor. Please keep them coming! :) I'm sure I'm not the only one they're helping. And keep up the great work! You guys are awesome!

More images for quests, power ups, future boosts
I wish I could choose from more stock images for power ups and future boosts. I don't always have a picture or want to find a picture to upload. Having a variety of icons we can pick would help me visualize my power ups and future boosts.

Themes for the app
I do not like the 'look' of the app but love the concept and where it is going. Just as we all appreciate different art so should we have different skins or themes for this app. Also make a universal or iPad version of app please.

Facebook login
Before i list my issue I would like to say that I love this app and I love the ideas and motivation driving it. You guys rule!
On to my issue-- On the iOS app when you sign up with your Facebook account you are presented with a Facebook validation screen every time you access SuperBetter. There can be a considerable lag just opening the app if your Internet connection is slow. This got so frustrating that I just deleted the app, reinstalled, and created an account manually to avoid this issue. It now opens pretty quickly.
