  1. Card Collecting

I would love it if I could choose my Bad Guy and my defense (power ups) each morning and slip thin into an area on the app to help remind me what I’m battling today and what my chosen defense strategies are.

This would be help for the all day baddies like Blood Sugar, Get up & move, etc. It’s taking me enough time to remember what I’m in about that day that I just skip using the app altogether.

  3. What if you don’t have an ally?

I don’t have any friends or family members that fit the role of an ally. Do I need one? And no, I don’t have any social media or online friends. Maybe there could be a automated ally?

  4. Relationship Power pack

There should be a power pack about strengthening/mending relationships with people, either family or significant other.

  5. Get rid of food fear

A lot of people with eating disorders might also be downloading this for anxiety. I think it would be good to get rid of language demonizing weight gain and calling foods or drinks “bad” because it’s triggering language (intuitive eating therapists could be a help on this) and actually encourages food anxieties. We can encourage healthy activities without fear “ex: move in a way that makes you happy”. I’ll be leaving this app until that’s changed.

  6. FYI, incomplete text

In the belly breathing step, the text is:
    "How to Belly Breathe:

    Lie down.
Put your attention on your breathing.

Without changing your breathing rhythm, try to breathe more from you"

    (and it ends there)

  7. Update for new iPhones

It would be great if you could update this app for the current iPhones and improve the layout. Some buttons are hard to press!

It’s a great app and really helping me on my journey to better self esteem

  8. Allies should be able to see a record somewhere of the quests, power ups, and other suggestions they make for their heroes.

As an ally, once I submit suggestions (a quest, a power up idea, a connection place/time), I don't have any way of seeing it again. I would love to have a history feature for allies that we can reference -- sometimes I might want to make the same suggestion once a week and want to remind myself when I last sent it; other times I want to be sure I'm not repeating myself; and I'd like to be able to differentiate which heroes I've sent a suggestion to (if I am helping multiple heroes at once). The feature does not…

  9. Have player-made quests appear in To-Do sidebar?

    Hello!

I find the To-Do sidebar that gives you check marks to be the most motivational thing that gets me to play superbetter every day (so helpful!).

However, I find myself glossing over and ignoring some potentially very useful quests that I have made for myself because they do not appear in the to-do bar and don't count toward the 3 quests a day for the checkmark. Would it be possible to create a function so that players can add their own powerpacks or individual quests that will appear in the bar and thus be more exciting to complete?

    Thank…

  12. Internal check lists

I would love to have a way to have sub tasks under a master task. For example. I have a workout routine power-up, within that routine I would like to list the multiple exercises I need to finish within the routine. This would help me keep track of what I need to do to finish the routine.

  13. Ability to organize power ups

I would like to long press a power up and then move it anywhere in the stack. This would allow me to organize in a logical manner.

  15. Fix the issue with displaying a two-digit number on The Battery

(I posted this issue earlier today, mistakenly explaining it as the counter going zero at US morning time, but that zeroing thing has already happened today, at X hours 37 minutes, as soon as I reported a completed action, so it definitely was NOT a time zone mismatch issue).

A few days ago, on the right from my shortest resilience stripe (physical) in my Battery, a number started to be shown. From what I understand, it's the number of my completed physical-resilience activities on that day.

But the problem is, when the number goes above 9, only the last digit…

  16. (Part 2) Fix the bug with resilience scores: it's impossible to keep The Battery balanced

    1. Current state of affairs:

    POWER-UPs:
+1 for whatever it was +1 emotional resilience

    QUESTS:
+1 for whatever it was +2 mental resilience

    Bad Guys:
    winning:
+1 for whatever it was +1 mental resilience
    failing:
    +1 mental resilience

    Future Boost completed:
    +1 mental resilience

    Logging In:
+3 mental resilience in total per day

    2. The Result:

Mental resilience is always the longest on The Battery, no matter what.
Physical and social resilience are always the shortest.

    3. The Problem with that

Given that The Battery is in the top right corner, i.e., in terms of user experience, is a very…

  17. Fix the bug of giving zero rewards for completing a 2nd Epic Win + keep a history of completed Epic Wins

After I completed my very first Epic Win, I got "Real Life Superhero" achievement and maybe (I didn't check) some resilience score reward.

But after I completed my 2nd Epic Win, there were no rewards.
Given that it's relevantly easy to complete the first epic win while there is novelty about the SuperBetter tool, it seems like a good idea to reward non-first epic wins as well, to encourage users to keep up the good work.

Yes, the rewards are abstract (score, achievement title), but on tough days, in tough life situations, in situations when there is a whole bunch…

  18. After the forced re-login, redirect the user to the page they initially launched - protect their wrist & attention span!

    CONTEXT:

    1. Whenever I go to SuperBetter site, I try to launch exactly the page I need — to save time, efforts, attention span, and my wrist.
I do it via either a) my Chrome home page - it has icons for SuperBetter pages that I use frequently (Power-Ups, Quests, Bad Guys) because I visit those pages frequently or b) Chrome's URL suggestions.

Given that you officially recommend prioritizing the web version of SuperBetter over the apps, I'm sure other users also attempt a similar quick-launch (maybe they even put the links to those pages on their browser's Bookmarks toolbar).

  19. Super Sidekick

I just barely got this app...literally minutes ago...and I already feel lost. I like the whole idea but I would feel better if there were some kind of help on each page so I don’t feel lost and unsure. Something that offers prompts for what to do and how to operate the app. It would be nice to be able to pick the sidekick (unicorn, fairy, dragon, wolf, etc) and be able to give it a name (baring inappropriate names). It would be there as a help for using the app, as a companion for the journey, as a source…

  20. Some ideas for future Power Packs!

Thank you for making Superbetter! It has had a significant and visible positive impact on my life. While playing several of the power packs currently available, I thought of a couple other general power pack topics that would certainly help me and likely other folks as well.

    1. Outsmart Procrastination:

I struggle constantly with procrastination, even on tasks and projects I genuinely enjoy, like calling loved ones and reading for fun, not to mention unpleasant chores or challenging work. Some kind of power pack with power ups and quests that taught and encouraged strategies for getting things done, breaking down seemingly…
