Portrayal of Women
I am interested in using SuperBetter as a tool for staying physically and mentally fit while having to finish a long and arduous project. The idea for this site and the way it is arranged is fantastic. However, when I have emailed a few friends to tell them about the site, all six were first struck by McGonigal's stage make up and unnecessary cleavage. For a self-help (or self-acceptance) site, McGonigal's styling seems to have missed the mark, appearing either threatening or comically bad.

Theming Options!
First, let me say I LOVE the SuperBetter experience. The interface is very good, and that's something that most web services either get wrong, or worse, just plain overlook. Custom images for events is a nice touch--I'd love to see that extended with some customizable theme options.

Suggesting a quest - more feedback would be good!
I've just suggested a quest for my hero, but I didn't see any feedback to indicate what's happened to it now or where it's gone (or even that it was successful). I found that the "suggest a quest" action has been crossed out, when I went back to my dashboard, but that's a bit hidden. More obvious feedback would help.
(Caveat: I'm an Opera user. I may well have missed something that should have worked in IE/FFx/Chrome.)

One touch for indicating completion of quests and power ups
It would be really nice if you could indicate the completion of a quest or the use of a power up with one click on the main list instead of having to go to the page for that specific quest or power up
69 votesWe’re working on including a small lightning bolt icon that you can click to quickly indicate completion from the list view. We had to make it two initially due to issues we saw in user testing where people would double click and accidentally complete a quest without even seeing what it was :)

Super Teams -- User ally groupings
I noticed there are lots of folks in the ally forum talking about the same issues, and volunteering to be each other's allies. For those like me who are a little less likely to stick our neck out, but still could use the help of other people's wisdom, maybe informal groups or clubs could be formed that, say, deal with similar issues, or similar epic wins, or hobbies. That's a super way to get social resilience, and a lot easier than committing to one-on-one help with a stranger!

Password reset email doesn't work
I have a password reset email, but the link just takes me to an error page. I've tried several times (the same token is sent each time).

Ally invite doesn't show e-mail it was sent to
The ally invite page shows the invites sent but doesn't show who they were sent to. It would be really nice to have the e-mail the invite was sent to listed in addition to the message. Otherwise it's hard to remember which was sent to who.

Categorize power ups by strength

I'd love it if I could see my power ups page categorized by the strength they build up so I can see where I need to round out my toolbox.

Need a "getting started faq" or something simpler
The community pages encourage you to view the faq right off the bat, but there is too much information -- there needs to be a gentler introduction to it. If nothing else, have the first question in the faq be "How do I get started."

Can't switch from facebook to direct sign in
Since accessing some stuff via facebook seemed to fail, I wanted to enter a password or something and there doesn't appear to be any way to do that. Editing my profile seemed like a place ot start, but it isn't working.

More specific (or apparently specific) powerpacks
the ones suggested seemed too generic to be as much use as I'd hoped for -- I don't know that they are, but from the titles, they seemed that way -- so I went for the custom option even though I would have liked to start with a powerpack.
5 votesThe more specific the power pack, the more specialized research we need and the more specialized experts we need to find. We’re certainly in the process of building out our Power Pack library, but the more specific, the more time it takes, as a general rule :)

Editing ally mission does not work.
When editing an ally mission both save buttons (textual one and button one) as well as the cancel button do nothing. And the '<-- view' link has a wrong url. It goes to /heroes/<myid>/alliances.<allianceid> instead of /heroes/<myid>/alliances/<allianceid>
3 votesWe’ve actually decided to remove that field, which is why you’re not able to save it (it’s throwing an error behind the scenes). It should vanish soon!

Can't figure out how to switch powerpacks
How do I do it? Is there a way to make it easier?
3 votesWe’re hard at work fixing this bug! Soon we will have a fully-functioning “Remove Power Pack” feature available in the “My Power Packs” section of your Secret Lab. (The button there now does not yet work. Soon!)
For now, email support@superbetter.com to get your account wiped clean. In that email, please send along your account username (which is sometimes different than your SB Community username). After that, you can add back the new power packs you want to use. Thanks!

Quests and Power-Ups
It would be really cool if we could send quests or power ups to our allies to challenge them.

If your ally wants to become a hero, you can do this by having them add you as their ally. That way you can build each other up!

Visual feedback for the Resend button at invitations.
The resend button doesn't give any visual feedback (or is broken for me?) it would be good to have a message.

The Pick an Epic Win mission's description of how to pick your epic win threw me off.
'Specify Your Epic Win' isn't there.. It's clicking on the ??? under 'So I Can', right? - btw thank you guys very much

Forum for just Hero and Allies
Some sort of forum (or perhaps a blogging or microblogging format thing) for keeping up with all of your allies at once would be a great help, I think. Where everyone can converse and talk about new ideas, how things are going, or where you could simply post so your allies know how you're doing outside of discrete events like quest completions.
3 votesRight now, you can leave status updates/messages on your activity wall and your allies can see them and respond to them (and leave their own messages for you there). Let us know if that works!
