How can we improve SuperBetter?

  1. Ally Suggestion Disappears!

    An ally made a suggestion. I read it. Clicked it and it is gone! I wanted to reply/comment on it and now I can't find it... :(

    When you accept a suggestion, you should get taken to the create quest screen, with the description your ally gave you preloaded. From there, you can save it to officially add it to your quest list. Which of those screens didn’t show up for you?

  2. Quests not being decremented properly

    I started with 3 Quests to complete today. Then I did 4, and still had 1 left to complete, according to SuperBetter. Here are the quests I completed today.

  3. Ally Login Names Not Secret Identity?

    When I click on Allies, I see different names than their Secret Identities so I have no idea who each ally is.

  4. Different levels of Quests

    Not all quests are created equal! It would be great for quests to have different levels, with different points rewarded accordingly, ie mini quest, normal quest, difficult quest, milestone goal.

  5. Award Your Hero... icons not showing!

    When I go to award an achievement to my ally, I can put in the title and text and pic the color with no problem. I have the option to pick an icon but it doesn't display the icons so I have no idea which one I am picking. :(

    This is in Firefox 12.0 on Mac. Haven't tried on Windows yet. Shut off my adblocker and flashblocker and still no luck.

  6. Clicking on links in activity takes me to... activity?

    I have to check and see if this happens on my activity page as well but when on my ally's activity page I sometimes click on bad guys or power-ups I don't know and expect I will go to the page that explains what they are... but instead I go back to the activity page. D'oh!

  7. Can we have a button that allows future boosts to repeat please?

    There are two kinds of repetition that have turned up.

    One is a Future Boost that happens on a regular schedual, so being able to set it up as weekly, fortnightly etc. would be useful.

    The other is a Boost that has passed and been ticked off, e.g. a movie night with friends where someone says "we should totally do this again!" In this case a Repeat and Edit button on past Boosts would be useful.

  8. Bad guy doesn't disappear when vanquished

    I vanquished "TV Kinda Rots Your Brain" and got +10 Physical Resilience and leveled up. Then I noticed it was still listed with "1 win", so I went in and vanquished it again for another +10 and "2 wins". This made me smile, because although I don't watch much TV, I am still pretty sedentary. Assuming bad guys are supposed to go away when vanquished, please fix this and issues like this.

  9. Mentor - Feedback on use of SuperBetter

    As a SuperBetter user, I could choose an option to solicit the help of a SuperBetter mentor to help evaluate my profile and activities. This person could make suggestions as to what I could add, as well as provide encouragement. The idea would be to have some insights on how well I am using the site and find out if I am missing out on any opportunities. This mentor would go above and beyond the Allies in that they would bring in some specific expertise and best practices on using Superbetter.

  10. Calendar view

    For the activation history in power ups. For example, I have the "Drink a Glass of Water" power up, I thought that instead of just listing the dates in the activation history, we could have a calendar view with the number of times we activated the power up each day. That way you can easily see how often you've activated the power.

  11. Add Note

    Sometime quests require you to think and list out something, would it be better to have a note that I can record down something? it is good that it can remind me and help me to think more

    Great that you've added 'Done Today' to Quests. Can you please add it to other categories such as Power Ups.

    Should be coming to Power-ups shortly! Do you think it would be useful on bad guys? Since bad guys aren’t a thing you need to do, they’re just something that happens, we didn’t think it was as helpful…

  14. I'm getting Ally emails, but no requests on the Allies page

    Is this related to "Ally trouble continues"?
    My prospective hero has tried re-sending the email, but nothing is showing up.

    I love that the quests now indicate when they've been done that day! It makes it so much easier to hop onto the site when I only have a couple minutes; I don't have to remember which ones I've done, since I can see it :)

  16. A way to temporarily pass on quests?

    I've come up on some fitness quests in powerpacks that I physically cannot do yet, but would like to come back to once my injury is more healed.

    Is it possible to add the option to pass on a quest so I can get to the next one, without removing it completely? Perhaps a button to bump the quest down the list by one, or in time by a week?

    We’re going to add a “skip” functionality (it’s in development now) to let you pass on a quest. There will also be a ‘not today’ option, so if you just want to ignore it for a day, it’ll pop up again next time there’s a reminder scheduled.

  17. Group Quests

    Our whole office is playing SuperBetter - MUCH LOVE! It is changing my life! But...we'd like to set and achieve group goals. Are we missing the way to do that?

    There’s not really a way to do this in the game, as it’s set up as individual players. The best way to achieve it is to set up a private group on the SuperBetter Community, and discuss your group goals there.   19. A way to tone down the background?

    I have migrane issues, and I find the bright white background on SB sometimes triggers the beginnings of a migrane. Is there a way to change the visuals according to the needs of the user?

    Personally, I find it easier on the eyes/brain to have dark sepia text on a light faun or green background. Less stress on the rods, more work being done by the cones. I'm sure this colour scheme won't be to everyone's taste, though.

    I really love this suggestion and it’s something that’s always been on our radar and we want to incorporate. Hopefully when we launch there will be a toggle in your profile to trigger “high contrast” mode or “soft mode” in addition to our standard dark grey on white.

  20. New user....

    I'm a new user with SuperBetter, and really liking it! here are the things that occur as quirky to me.....
    - my current points and peak points are always the same...seems strange, like it isn't re-setting.

    - It looks as though i've completed my quests each day, it isn't re-setting. But it is under activities and battles.

    - Under levels, it says i have opened up secret files, but i can't find them.
    - I wish the new activities as you unlock each level were automatically added to my activities.
