  1. Colour code quests according to the resilience they build up

The little multi-coloured SB icons next to the quests I create are pretty, but it'd be useful if they were colour-coded like the different kinds of resilience so I can see which builds up which.

  4. "i'm battling this/these bad guy(s) today"

    Dear SB
I've only been playing a week and it's great.
Each morning i choose a bad guy to battle, but have to wait till the evening to decide if i succeeded/failed etc.

It would be nice to have a button to say "i am battling this bad guy today", then on the activity page it can remind you what you bad guy you are aiming to overcome.

    Thanks for the great tool,
    Stay SuperBetter

    Regards
    Ashley Nicholas

  5. Multi-user quests

I'd like to see quests that are made for allies, basically things to do together, or just the ability to make any quest a shared one - for example taking a walk to relax together when people can't find enough motivation to do so on their own, and then the quest is marked as done only when all participants have marked it as done.

  6. Make Power-ups that are unlocked by Quests

I noticed at least one Powerup whose utility followed performing a specific quest -- the Presto-changeo powerup for the Your Body Rocks powerpack. And it made me think that it would be really cool to have power-ups unlocked by quests. Earning power ups and powers from overcoming events is a staple in games, and would really make me feel a sense of pleasure and achievement when I used those power ups. And I love unlocking new quests in the SuperBetter game. I feel like, "Oooh, I unlocked something!!!" There are a few Quests, such as the meditation quests, that suggest…

  7. use "his" or "her" rather than "their"

Currently it says "Tasmydian set their epic win" in my activity log. It should probably read "his or her" rather than "their". I can't remember if I set my gender in my profile or not, if so you could use that info to make it "his".

    Cheers, love SuperBetter!

  8. Do Like the Monks Power Up Typo

Just wanted to let you know that the site recommends "mediation" when I think you mean "meditation."

  9. Explanation and/or hyperlink related to Mindfulness power-up

    Hello SuperBetter team(???):

First of all, I am a huge Jane McGonigal fan, and I just wrote a paper on SuperBetter for an Emerging Technology class in Grad School. Also - erm... I have recommended it to my therapist, but that is a different story.

As far as the mindfulness power-up: there is no explanation, so unless one is familiar with it, or is provided a link to an article about it, then its usefulness might not be utilized. Even I am unsure exactly what this power-up means: should I take a walk with a clear mind and try to…

  10. tracker questions on mobile

Being able to answer the daily and weekly tracker questions using the mobile app would be really really really handy. Not all of Secret Labs -- just the questions. :)

  11. Keep track of items and skills you "unlocked" in life

Unlike Achievements, this would be to remind yourself of abilities that can get you through (my charm, my writing skills ) and "items" that help, like favors you can call in or restaurants that serve the kind of food you're trying to eat more of. A lot of games have a "backpack "and a list of special powers you can activate.

  12. Organising Power Ups, etc. and rearranging them

I would like to be able to categorise the power ups, say into physical, emotional, etc- but be able to name them myself, and also be able, therein, to move them around, or prioritise them.

    Thanks :)

  13. being able to make your own 'questline'

Just, being able to make a questline so that when you're done one, it automatically adds another, and you can make them branch off, and repeat, etc. It would be cool if this was something where you could choose to make your questline public, like in the superpacks or something, or people could vote your questline in. Thanks :)

  14. there's no such thing as 'just' superbetter

I think that the 'challenge' option 'i'm just getting SuperBetter' should have the 'just' removed. It sounds disparaging

  16. please make an Android app

Super Better is super amazing. I've been introducing it to college students that I teach and it seems to be catching on! However not all of them are apple users me included :)

You guys are amazing, thank you for sharing your gift with the world.

  17. Creating your own

I love creating my own power ups, bad guys and quests but when it comes to choosing which strength they affect the most, a lot of the time I have overlaps.

It'd be great if you worked in the option of being able to assign more than one strength to personal creations.

For example, I have a bad guy, and a power up to tackle him, that affects both my mental and emotional resilience. I'm choosing mental resilience at the moment, but I know that when this baddie gets to me, he rips my heart out, and the power-up to…

  18. Mood Elevator up, Depression down

I really just wanted to take the time to let you guys know that SuperBetter is helping me combat my depression. I go through depression like waves: for some periods of time, I'm up; then, a random day will come along and bring me crashing down. It's always very difficult for me to get up out of these down times, even though I go to a licensed therapist regularly. This time, however, I'm using SuperBetter, particularly the Mood Elevator power packs. I'm finishing ground floor now and moving on to the first floor. Please keep them coming! :) I'm sure…

  19. Would like to see where I am heading

I would love to have a visual cue of how I am doing since all seems a bit linear. I would like the goals to be categorised so when I complete certain quests I also achieve a higher aim. Right now I feel I am doing many disconnected bits. Also I would like to see a graphic like "my secret identity" that I could visually improve by spending achievement points. That way my progress would be more visual and I would have more reasons to work for it.
I absolutely love this app. Thank you so much for putting time…

  20. Facebook login

Before i list my issue I would like to say that I love this app and I love the ideas and motivation driving it. You guys rule!

On to my issue-- On the iOS app when you sign up with your Facebook account you are presented with a Facebook validation screen every time you access SuperBetter. There can be a considerable lag just opening the app if your Internet connection is slow. This got so frustrating that I just deleted the app, reinstalled, and created an account manually to avoid this issue. It now opens pretty quickly.
