Interface for allies seems simple enough, but none of my allies can figure it out.
My allies aren't as technologically proficient as I am. None of them can figure out the game interface. I think they may need a few more directions!
19 votesHey there!
Thanks so much for your feedback. We know the ally interface needs work, and it is on our list for improvement. If you have any specific suggestions, please let us know! Thank you!
Cheers,

Allies please!
Help, I don’t have any allies! I would really like some, but I’m embarrassed to ask family members or friends. It would be great if there was a way to become and ally and gain allies who are already playing the game.

More interaction between allies
It would be wonderful to be able to message allies, suggest powerups to them and send support/encouragement through the website and/or app. This would make it a more interactive and social experience, amplifying the positive effects this wonderful game has

Ability to send messages to added allies from the app
I understand the separation of the forum online and the app, but after you add an ally inside the app, it would be nice to have a messaging system where we could send messages back and forth within the app. Most of my allies I can only contact by PMing them in the forum, and that can be a hassle and discourages me to check in with them. If I could send messages directly to them from the app, it's a way to be able to contact them regularly and support them without exchanging personal information like phone numbers and…

Easier ally-adding -- not just email, and not just one-on-one
Right now I can only add allies one at a time, and only if I know their real-world email. I'd like to be able to (a) use someone's SuperBetter username to add them by clicking through on the site, and separately to (b) post a general link to, for example, twitter, that anyone clicking on it (and more than one person) can by simple clickthrough become my ally.

Super Teams -- User ally groupings
I noticed there are lots of folks in the ally forum talking about the same issues, and volunteering to be each other's allies. For those like me who are a little less likely to stick our neck out, but still could use the help of other people's wisdom, maybe informal groups or clubs could be formed that, say, deal with similar issues, or similar epic wins, or hobbies. That's a super way to get social resilience, and a lot easier than committing to one-on-one help with a stranger!
Groups could, for instance, not only discuss the kinds of issues they…

Show who Liked things
It would be cool if clicking on the number of Likes an item has would show you who liked it. Right now, it either makes me like the post, too, or does nothing if I've already liked it. Some of my allies aren't vocal, so I'd like to be able to see who's been watching and offering their quiet support.

Are my facebook friends SuperBetter users?
I'd like to be able to make allies of my existing network, and you're already connected somewhat to facebook...
Ideally, I'd want to be able to first connect to my friends who are already using this app, then to invite friends to join
13 votesLetting other people on facebook know you’re playing SuperBetter is something of a privacy issue. Because SuperBetter is health related, we don’t want to be telling the world you’re using it – even if it’s theoretically people you know and have approved to be on your social network.
We’re working on adding more levels of privacy, so that if you want to let your facebook friends know you’re playing, you can, but for now we’re sticking with the ‘better safe than sorry’ policy and not making any of that information visible.

Group Quests
Our whole office is playing SuperBetter - MUCH LOVE! It is changing my life! But...we'd like to set and achieve group goals. Are we missing the way to do that?
Thank you, Jane. We crossed paths at IdeaFestival in Louisville a few years ago. This idea is spectacular! Viva Games! See you at games for health.12 votesThere’s not really a way to do this in the game, as it’s set up as individual players. The best way to achieve it is to set up a private group on the SuperBetter Community, and discuss your group goals there. Please email me at jessica [at] superbetter [dot] com if you’d like help setting up a group!

Reason for Declining Suggestions
When declining a suggestion, it would be cool if I could tell my ally why. It would also be great to see a history of suggestions somewhere, as one I decline today might seem more achievable at some point down the road.

Add allies from Twitter and Facebook friends.
I would like to be able to send ally requests to twitter and Facebook friends rather than just via email.
I actually don't know most of the email addresses for some of my better friends online.
12 votesThanks for the suggestion! We’re definitely considering this and other ways to make the ally invite process easier. ~Rose

Exchanging custom Powerpacks for Self Help Books we read
The idea has two parts: (1) Making custom Powerpacks, and (2) Letting Allies download them.
For example, if I want to practice the "7 Habits" or "The Happiness Advantage", a Stephen Covey Powerpack, or a Shawn Achor Powerpack should be customizeable so that I can share it with my allies.
It is so much more powerful to be bound by a book/field of work. It gives meaning as well as structure to following a book rather than simply thinking of some day in the future when you will follow it up.

"About Me" Page for Allies to View
I would love to have an "About Me" page for my allies to view, other than the limited forum profile. This page would have text boxes I could fill in, adding details about my current challenges and epic win, maybe even explaining my secret identity. That way it is easy for my allies to check on and remember what I am facing, and I can do the same for my heros.

See the allies progress in the app
It would be nice to see the progress of your allies in the activity field in the app, not only on the computer

I would like to be able to remove certain allies, if they don't prove to be that beneficial.

Invite Allies with a Text
It would be nice to be able to invite allies with a text instead of an email. Kids these days use texting more anyway, haha.

different allies, different goals
It is great the superbetter has focused me on one goal (because my tendency is to adopt too many), but the truth is that i am facing both a challenging personal situation AND a challenging professional one, and I'm using superbetter to cope with both. I need very different allies for those two challenges, and there are powerups that I have not created because I would not want professional allies to see some of the personal things I'm wrestling with.

Get an error when trying to accept an invitation
This is happening in my iOS app. The error message says "Server returned code 422"... whatever it means in human language :)
Is this bad or I can still be there for my hero? :)

Ally Login Names Not Secret Identity?
When I click on Allies, I see different names than their Secret Identities so I have no idea who each ally is.
