How can we improve SuperBetter?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  2. How about using the player assigned icons when the activity shows up?

    I get my allies' icon when they do something. I'd like their icon for the activity, not just their ID icon, if possible. The way it shows up in my feed for my stuff.

  4. SuperBetter Weekly Digest

    SuperBetter Weekly Digest is the first app e-mail that I find really useful. I find it a great tool to remind me of how I've been coping with my challenges. However, it does not count my quests. It always tells me I've completed none, which is never true.

  5. iPhone app commenting broken

    I type in a comment then press the add icon, but nothing happens. I press enter after entering the comments and the same thing happens.

    Thanks very much for the heads up, Dreamroller. I just tested it out and see what you’re talking about – commenting is a bit buggy right now. To comment on mobile, press the plus twice, then wait, and the comment should post after a couple second delay.

  6. iPhone app: new item suggestion bar too small

    When entering a new quest/bad guy/power up, the suggestion bar at the top is too small. Takes multiple taps before activation success.

  7. Have a "select random" option for quests, bad guys, and power ups

    Being able to have the app randomly select a quest, power up or bad guy would be great!

  8. Cut allies loose

    I have a couple of allies who have never left me so much as a "like." If allies are no longer playing or aren't interacting with us, we should have a way to cut them loose.

  9. Quest / Power Ups / Enemy suggest by Ally

    Sometimes, our friends know us better than ourself.

    If Ally can pass a quest / power up / enemy to us, we could decide whether to accept, it might be a challenge. Ally could as well set the award for this quest / power up / enemy.

    This feature is currently available through web! You can accept the activities on mobile, but can’t send them through mobile yet. This is in the plan for a future release. Thanks! Rose

  10. Too many issues with iPhone 5 crashing and error messages

    I'm having lots of trouble using app, there are many error messages and random app crashes. Really want to use this app but I can't get over the issues with the way it's running, please help!

  12. Option to enter info more quickly

    I love SuperBetter! However, I have a slow internet connection, I don't love waiting around for pages to load.

    It really drags me down and slows down my motivation to use SuperBetter when I have to click on Quests, wait for quests to load, click on a particular quest, wait for it to load, click to say that I've done it and then repeat dozens of times for powerups, bad guys, etc.

    I love using SuperBetter as a way to give myself credit for working on goals, for doing difficult things, one small piece at a time. However, what would…

    Es wäre wirklich von Vorteil wenn man in verschiedenen Sprachen wechseln könnte. Da ich selber nur eingeschränkt englisch kann, würde mir das um Längen weiterhelfen. ;-)

  14. show the "new ideas"

    I think you should highlight the new feedback more. Right now you have to really dig in and search for it, and if you are not interested in a specific topic you really have to go out of your way to see the new ideas for that topic.

    What I suggest is that on the main page in the "How can we improve SuperBetter?" section, next to "top ideas" and "recently updated ideas" insert a new topic called "new ideas". That way you can see a few newly submitted ideas and have a quick link to see a chronological list…

  15. Extra "Career" Category

    I've just started using SuperBetter and really see how it can help me improve myself... but I want it to help me improve my skills in my career rather than the '4 categories', where I stand quite ok. I will use superbetter to improve those as well, but I really want to focus most of my attention for the next few years on improving my career skills. I want to keep track and to motivate myself to keep on studying and improving myself each day.

  16. Themes for the app

    I do not like the 'look' of the app but love the concept and where it is going. Just as we all appreciate different art so should we have different skins or themes for this app. Also make a universal or iPad version of app please.

  17. More than just health goals

    Hey Jane and others! I'm loving SuperBetter. I found it after watching Jane's talk on TED.com. I'm thinking this applies to so much more than just health goals. Are there plans in the works to expand the application of this game model? I can see it as a way to deal with numerous types of goals - bad habits (not health related), academic goals, relationship goals, travel goals...I'm guessing the possibilities are limitless.

  18. Stand alone App that synches

    I am often in places where network connection is weak or missing and the way the app works leads to long delays that lead to quitting. Have a stand alone App that locally stores the data and syches in the background.

  20. I'd really love it if this application could be used with my native language.

    I'd really like it if this application could be used with my native language. Most of my natural allies can not be invited because they are not fluent enough. So, that limits my options with allies quite a bit! And I bet I'm not the only one :)
