How can we improve SuperBetter?

  1. Too many videos!

    First off - WOW. Great job!
    A few thoughts. Videos take time to watch and make noise. Fun graphics that gave me the gist at a glance would be cool. Also, you have way to much Jane. As much as I completely adore her work, it's a bit over the top in terms of avatar presence. It's like going to a yoga studio where the owner hung up 900 pictures of themselves.... I'd prefer an adorable robot or character that was animated. Fitocracy gets that right with Fred. Also, Creative Commons did a good job with that a few years…

  2. How can i send a picture to my activities wall?

    In one of the early quests of being awesome it asked for putting a picture on activities wall or in the forum. How can i put a picture in activities wall?

  4. Have the activity clickable on the activity page (for ally)

    As an ally, I don't always know what my hero has completed by the name of the activity on the activity wall - so I can see what he's doing and comment or like. When I go to click on the activity it just takes me to the activity page. If I want to find out what "birds of a feather" is, for instance, I have to look through the quests, powerups, etc. to try to find out. It would be simpler if clicking on the activity took me to a description of that activity.

  8. hyper links broken!?

    when I started my journey, clicking on 'injury/illness" or the other on did not take me anywhere, but once I just went to "superbetter.com" I found that I was all signed up and ready. Now I cannot edit anything, or delet my profile because I'm SICK OF THIS already and want to give up. I don't have any major problem, I just thought I could get help motivating myself...so I can't imagine someone with a bigger problem who really needs help must feel. Hyper links do not work! grrrr

  13. Move the activity log so it's not the main focus of the dashboard

    Hey I think it would be great if the activity log didn't take up most of the screen for the main page of the dashboard. Personally I don't find the activity log particularly interesting or helpful and I'm not really interested in scrolling through it most of the time, since I have usually just done whatever is showing up there, so I already know what it's going to say. Maybe it could be on a separate page that you have to click to get to, or at least on a side panel so it doesn't take up so much space? …

  15. Ability to Create Alternate Quests for Unexpected Recovery Days

    Okay, so this is probably going to be a bit complicated, but it's an idea I wanted to put out there. Since I know there are a lot of people like me, using SuperBetter to manage chronic illness, it would be great to have the option to create an alternate set of quests (and maybe powerups and bad guys, too?) to switch to on Surprise Mandatory Rest/Recovery Days.

    And I mean, like, switch completely, so we can't see our other quests and instead get ones we'd design to help us remember to do the simple things that are necessary for…

  18. show the "new ideas"

    I think you should highlight the new feedback more. Right now you have to really dig in and search for it, and if you are not interested in a specific topic you really have to go out of your way to see the new ideas for that topic.

    What I suggest is that on the main page in the "How can we improve SuperBetter?" section, next to "top ideas" and "recently updated ideas" insert a new topic called "new ideas". That way you can see a few newly submitted ideas and have a quick link to see a chronological list…

  20. iPhone app commenting broken

    I type in a comment then press the add icon, but nothing happens. I press enter after entering the comments and the same thing happens.

    Thanks very much for the heads up, Dreamroller. I just tested it out and see what you’re talking about – commenting is a bit buggy right now. To comment on mobile, press the plus twice, then wait, and the comment should post after a couple second delay.
