   Add awards for beating battles, and give the ability to make your own. For example, defeat 5 bosses and you get x(where x could be something of your choosing.) game could give suggestions of award based on difficulty and number of battles.

2. Fix bugs

   I just watched the TED talk given by Jane McGonigal and was ecstatic about the app, until I read the reviews and looked at the price. I really want to buy the app because of the great benefits but am stubbornly reluctant to buy it at any price if all of the reviews mention the glitchy and buggy interphase.

3. Deepening the Secret Identity

   I'd like to start this message by saying that I adore the concept of this website and I've been surprised just how quickly (and almost instinctually) I have been able to embrace the act of gaming in real life, though I've had a "secret identity" of sorts for a while, now. One of the things that really sparked my imagination a few years back was beginning to envision myself as a separate person to which I could empathize with - she became a heroine to the exaggerated form of my own story. That heroine changed just as I did, as my priorities and knowledge shifted me.

   This is why I'd love to see a more intricate set of options for the secret identity feature. The secret identity, which represents the truth we feel within us that isn't necessarily true to the external world, is a complex idea. But in games and in our heads, most people's heros are not the perfected examples of us; they are perfect examples of a fully developed, three-dimensional character - with flaws, fears, challenges, and strengths. They exist in a world of more extreme representations of the challenges we face in real life. But until we actually ask questions about this hero, we may feel uncertain about our secret identity's, well, identity - and this can make it difficult to vividly imagine ourselves as our hero in the moments we really need to ask ourselves what they would do.

   SO, I would suggest options along the nature of the very four goals that are put forward to us from the beginning; mental health, emotional health, social health, and physical health. For example, I'd like to be able to input information about, say, moral identity, place in the world, purpose in life, strength of relationships, physical skills, and mental abilities just as well as fears or flaws or challenges in the unique world of each user's imagination. These are the fears and flaws and challenges our hero easily overcomes and they represent fears and flaws and challenges we're trying to overcome, too.

   I'm not looking for a website to design your own avatar, because I think that would externalize the hero too much and possibly ruin the point of be ing a part of a real life game. But I'd love to be asked a few questions or be able to write out information about my secret identity to more clearly understand myself and my secret personality. Woo.

4. "Being an adult" powerpack

   Similar to the "messy" powerpack suggestion but broader. Some of us have trouble brushing our teeth every day. Or showering. Or cleaning our room. Or paying bills on time. Or getting to work on time. Or cooking meals at home. We could use a powerpack to validate us for the "adult" things we already do and help us improve on the ones we find challenging.

5. Steal ideas from wunderlist!

   I love this app, but the todo function is horrible. I want to be able to organize where my quests are in order, and hide completed quests. Also, why not let us add quests inside of quests like your power packs have, that way our adventures could be a lot more interesting! The real challenge for superbetter will be finding a way to create involved individual stories for the users. So that was a lot in a little time, but I really suggest downloading a standard todo app like wunderlist and making basic changes to the format of the site and the mobile app.

7. Have option to avoid pro-weight-loss/anti-fat material on the site.

   Please let us block all weight-related suggestions/ads. Many of us are getting superbetter from eating disorders/chronic dieting. Even large people like myself could really use a break from that same old "weight loss is what matters!" message we get everywhere on the web. We'd like to focus on getting healthier, not necessarily thinner!

8. Minor interface tweak

   Hi there,
   On the Activity page, there's the daily checklist along the right side. It would be helpful if that was there on other pages as well, like the Power-Up page or the Quests page. It would mean loading fewer pages, saving data and time for mobile users.

9. Expandable posts on mobile app activity wall

   I use my iPhone for everything, and it would be really nice to see the full messages posted on my activity wall by myself and my allies on the mobile app. I would really like to be able to see posts I've submitted myself in order to track my ups n downs, and I defiantly don't want to miss out on one ounce of encouragement from my allies. Please is it possible to make the messages expandable on the mobile ap ? Like FB where there is a little hyperlink that says "continue reading" and it opens the full message. I'm always on the go, being I have twin boys that are 9, a daughter who's 4, and our littlest man is just 2. I don't have much time to sit at a PC... =) Thank you for listening, and considering my request. Need all the encouragement I can get...

13. Custom challenges

    Hi,

    I'm really loving Superbetter so far! However, one thing that I believe could improve the experience (mine at least) is the ability to specify a custom challenge. The current pre-specified challenges don't quite cover my situation, but I can still really use Superbetter to, well, get better.

    For challenges outside the predefined ones, you have the 'Just getting Superbetter' challenge, but that's not very descriptive if you do have a specific demon that you are battling, but it's not listed. The challenge is displayed quite prominently in the interface, so being able to specify one of your own could have a great motivational value.

    One way you could go about this is to enable renaming of the 'Just Getting Superbetter' challenge. This wouldn't impact the rest of the application.

14. Mix & Match Power Packs

    I think it would be easier to personalize SuperBetter if you could take power ups, bad guys, and quests from any power pack and add the to your To Do list. Right now, if you add/delete a power pack, you take on all the facets of the power pack, even if some of them aren't challenges for you, and then when you delete your power pack, all of the facets are taken off your to do list, even ones you might still want to work on.

    Obviously you can recreate these yourself later, but it would be nice if you could simply hit some sort of add button next to particular facets of a power pack you might like.

15. Creativity powerpack

    Hi,
    I enjoy superbetter a lot, I think it's a fantastic and fun tool for self improvement/ motivation etc. I wanted to suggest a creativity power-pack, that would encourage people to think differently about familiar things, find innovative solutions to problems, or just take out a few crayons and draw something, write something, photograph something, you get the picture. Another power pack that I would personally find very useful is about time-management. I would gladly help out in creating such power-packs.

18. a few tips i find major.

    good afternoon,

    my name is jeffery and i'm 34 living in metro detroit. i've never been a "gamer," up until 8 months ago when a friend insisted i buy an xbox 360. since that day i've been on it at least 10 hours a day, 7 days a week (yes, i know!). i'm an internet marketer and day after day i would study myself as to why a "non-gamer" could be so addicted to this machine. microsoft are excellent marketers.

    i'm telling you this because when i watched and re-watched the 2012 ted talk 3 times last night i was extremely excited to play this game and to get all my family and new xbox friends to play. i could just see all the possibilities for it, but as i've just registered my enthusiasm has plummeted. i would just like to take a non-judgemental second and tell you why.

    it seems to me that the reason we invest so many hours a week playing online games is not for the games themselves, but for the social competition. it about comparing yourself (whether that be the leaderboards or xp score or amount of completion of said game) with others. in other words, it's about that "big long goal" that you choose. your game doesn't seem to offer that. there is no incentive to essentially "play by yourself" and therefore i cannot contact my social circle to say, "please play this game that you will be isolated in, but it's good for you." it's essentially offering a piece of spinach to them. "no thanks. no interesting goal there."

    the fact that's it's good for you is not the main factor. it is a game. games are to provide enjoyment. the best, longest lasting results for fun i find involve the social competition aspect. i could be wrong, but based on my year living on xbox i could even include the word "addicted." if i were sandboxed on xbox i'm quite certain my gaming career would have lasted around 45 minutes total. it would become boring quickly, hence what i'm starting to feel about superbetter.

    so my suggestion for you guys, though i understand probably very costly, would be at a minimum to create a friends/worldwide leaderboard. i might also suggest that when logged in you can compare yourself to everyone in your social group. this will motivate. though i've spent a total of 3 minutes on the website i would also suggest almost un-ending levels, with each higher one becoming harder to attain (challenges count for less each level).

    just keep it "supersimple:"

    hundreds of challenges you guys write
    cut out all the alter-ego/write your own stuff
    years worth of level increasing

    i think it would become a ritual for regular people who wouldn't have to think too hard about it, but would be invested in continuing (because their best friend has a higher level).

    i'd love to see this as a game everyone plays, not just people who have clear problems they'd like to work on. i'd love it to be a facebook sensation while also intergrated on xbox and phone apps. it's a winning idea to be sure, but i think it needs some major tweaks.

20. windows phone app??? some of us detest iphones

    Can't find an app for superbetter in marketplace on windows phone. I would like to try it, however I don't like being on the computer much. I am too busy to spend much time at a computer, however with a mobile app.........
