How can we improve SuperBetter?

Get Rid of the Current Points vs. Peak Points--so demoralizing

Here I've achieved level 25 and keep slogging away despite not having the incentive of reaching new levels. If I get an achievement a month, it seems to be a miracle despite my logging in practically every day and working and working and working and now you're making me feel bad by having my current points lower than my peak points. It's so demoralizing to be working so hard and have your computer system say, "nope, that's not enough". I HATE it and it has the potential of driving me away from Superbetter. Seeing my points rise was the last incentive you left me now that I've maxed out the levels and achievements. It was your last incentive for me and now you've taken it away. Sincerely Superdiscouraged.

Hi Emily, I sincerely appreciate your feedback and am sorry to hear you’re feeling SuperDiscouraged because of this. Our intention was to help motivate players to reach their goals, but we understand that everyone is motivated differently. I do hope you’ll stick with SuperBetter and promise I’ll keep an ear out on player feedback around this change (and the whole site too!). ~Rose

I haven't been playing long, but at this point I am a daily player and it has been great -- I haven't experienced a day when my current points were less than my peak - but I could certainly see how that could be awful and discouraging! You're supposed to be getting SuperBetter!

What about having SPECIAL power boosts that could make up points for skipped days?

I'm trying to get my mother to play, and she is dealing with a variety of health issues - some days she's active, and others she can barely get out of bed! She's not a gamer anyway, but if she forced herself to get out of bed only to find that she had been punished for having a rough day the day before -- I can totally see that making her want to stop!

I keep a little list of my quests in my wallet and tend to check in and enter what I've done at the end of the week. Coming back and seeing that not logging in daily has eroded my stats is DEEPLY discouraging. It seems to happen incredibly fast. Please at least slow it down.

One of my goals is to spend less time at the computer and I feel punished for completing that quest!
