What if you don’t have an ally?
I don’t have any friends or family members that fit the role of an ally. Do I need one? And no, I don’t have any social media or online friends. Maybe there could be a automated ally?

Quests and Power-Ups
It would be really cool if we could send quests or power ups to our allies to challenge them.

If your ally wants to become a hero, you can do this by having them add you as their ally. That way you can build each other up!

It should be easier to be reciprocal allies.
It's weird that both people need to send a request. Maybe there could be a ticky box you could check to say "Hey, I'm willing to be your ally!" and then said person could click a "Sure!" button during the whole process. So it's only something that has to be done once, not twice.

Allies need to be reciprocal
Alliances go both ways, otherwise they are dependents. Forcing both sides to ask each other is childish.
And navigating through all the mystery meat is confusing and ineffective.4 votes -
ally sign in / sign up
My ally tried to sign in / up, but doesnt end up being entered as my ally... i would think that allies would have a different process so they are autimatically linked to the person(s) they are supporting....
4 votesCan you let us know what your ally did? Your ally needs to click the link (either from facebook or from the email), then sign up for a new account on the page it takes them to, and they will automatically be linked as your ally.
Had your ally already created an account before? If so, the two emails MUST match (the email they signed up with, and the email you invited).
Let me know – I know we’ve been running into a lot of issues with allies so I’ll try to help as best I can and please bear with us! :)

Make the app good for Allies
I've been added as an Ally and bought the App. I can't find my Hero's profile or see my to do list or do anything to support her thorough the app! Please fix asap!

Better labeling of Ally area
I've been realizing I've been contacting support rather than giving feedback. My apologies.
So one thing I noticed is that the Ally section seems to reuse a lot of the formats of the hero section of the website. This means that when (I think) I'm looking at my Ally's information (say for example their resiliences) all the text on the page reads as if I am reading my own and there is no indication I am looking at one of my hero's resilences.
Also there appears to be no way to figure out a Hero's level? Was that intentional?

My ally suggested a check-in but there is nothing on the site!
I got an email from superbetter.com saying my ally "suggested a Check In." and to click the link "Go to your Secret Headquarters to see what it is."
I clicked the link... and there is nothing there. Where do I find this?
4 votesHmm. That’s incredibly peculiar. What happens if you change the last part of the URL while you’re at your Secret HQ to be /suggestions instead of /secret_hq (I think that’s what it is, might be slightly different). That is the hard link directly to your suggestions page. Does anything show up?
OLDER RESPONSE——
On the left hand side of your secret HQ, there should be a link that says SUGGESTIONS (in the same place as the links that say ACTIVITY, QUESTS, ALLIES, etc). When you click that, you should be able to see the suggestions. Let me know if it’s not working! -
Hard to Keep Track of Allies
It is super difficult to find how to look at allies profiles and activity to check in on their progress. Can you design that to be obvious and convenient? Thanks

My allies want to be able to see the descriptions of the quests/bad guys/powerups/etc
When they click on the links of them, they just go back to the same page. It would be really helpful for both them and me if they could give feedback on what tasks I did, but they need to know what it is I did. And also for me to give them feedback about their activities, obviously. Since I'm new to the website and several things seem to be broken (forum not working, blog hacked), I'm not sure it's supposed to be like that. But I'd find it very helpful! Just reading someone tackled "Chicken Little" doesn't mean much…

The 'My Activity' feed and the 'Ally' feed should look different
Specifically, my 'Ally' feed SHOULD NOT have anything from me in it! It makes it really hard to find my Ally activity.
I don't mind if their stuff shows up in my feed by default, though a 'just me' button might not be bad.
Also, definitely expand comments by default SO I CAN READ THEM. Making it a click-to option makes it very hard for me to make myself do it, given the particular Bad Guys I battle. At least, a setting somewhere where I can choose to have them auto-expand?

Editing ally mission does not work.
When editing an ally mission both save buttons (textual one and button one) as well as the cancel button do nothing. And the '<-- view' link has a wrong url. It goes to /heroes/<myid>/alliances.<allianceid> instead of /heroes/<myid>/alliances/<allianceid>
3 votesWe’ve actually decided to remove that field, which is why you’re not able to save it (it’s throwing an error behind the scenes). It should vanish soon!

Forum for just Hero and Allies
Some sort of forum (or perhaps a blogging or microblogging format thing) for keeping up with all of your allies at once would be a great help, I think. Where everyone can converse and talk about new ideas, how things are going, or where you could simply post so your allies know how you're doing outside of discrete events like quest completions.
3 votesRight now, you can leave status updates/messages on your activity wall and your allies can see them and respond to them (and leave their own messages for you there). Let us know if that works!

Simplify Adding Allies
Ally requests should work like a social network: I would have to approve the request and be able to add them back simply. The current system is very confusing.

Ally Things
Within the app I'd like to be able to do more than like or comment on my allies' activities. Like the website, I'd like to be able to assign quests, power ups, and achievements in the app.

Why am I seeing messages from my Allies' allies in my Activity Feed?
I should not be able to see messages from my allies' allies when I am on my own Dashboard, in hero mode. This is very confusing and disturbing from a privacy standpoint.

Would be great to "blanket" a comment to all allies
At times I would like to send a power up or Quest to all of my allies. Right now, I have to do this one at a time. It would be great to set up a method for for sending something to multiple allies.

Being able to see quests of your heroes by clicking on their feed!
Whenever I look at the feed of my heroes, it only says 'Person X did quest Y!' and so on. I want to encourage them and make personal comments, but I have no idea what their quest is about. I can click the 'quest Y', but it's not an actual link.
I think making it so that whenever I click on the quest (or achievement/badguy/etc) my heroes did/won/conquered, I get a description of what the quest is and what they did. That way, I can make more useful/personal comments to help them!

Some sort of profile or even questionare that only allies have access to.
The situation is of course different if your allies are also real life friends. However, if they are someone that you have just met via the forum it would be nice if there was an easy way to get to know them a bit better before you send them on quests. For instance, it would be good to know if they have any food allergies, what access to exercise equipment they have, what their physical limitations or disabilities are, what language they are most comfortable using, their tech skills, etc.

Visual feedback for the Resend button at invitations.
The resend button doesn't give any visual feedback (or is broken for me?) it would be good to have a message.
