An error occurred while saving the comment MagicMama commentedI think IN THEORY the real-life incentives you suggest may be a good idea, but considering that this whole game is kind of done on the "honor system" - I think people may start clicking through their power ups and quests to get rewards rather than actually doing them to get better. Your motivation and rewards should be in real life - actually getting super better. The quests are just a way to track your progress and keep you moving toward your epic goals.

Peter - that's great!
Easy enough to add "A penny saved" as a power up when I avoid eating out when I could have brown-bagged it - or if it's a big issue, then maybe add a Bad Guy "Frivolous Spender" for impulse buys when you could've/should've just saved! People having hard times with their budgeting could add a quest with a weekly-reminder (on pay-day) to make sure all of their bills are paid before they go out and make purchases that would otherwise hinder their ability to pay for the necessities!
