Make it more male friendly or gender neutral.
I love the content of this app, and I tried to share it with my dad who also has depression. He kind of wrote it off though because he said it was a "girly" app with all the rainbows and whatnot. I think men who could really use this may be turned off by the slightly feminine design. Just a thought.

definitely on the right track with customizable themes
It is a bit unicorny. i dont let it bother me too much, but i hesitate to expose certain friends to it because of the surface alienation factor.
themes or customization should definitely be on the 'to do" list.
for both gender and subculture reasons.
i do understand theres probably a lot of function stuff thats higher on the priority list. but it should be on the list somewhere.

I like Frominator's idea of graphic themes. The rainbows and overuse of bring pinks/blues could turn people off (I hadn't noticed this myself, but now that it's mention I would prefer a different colour theme that's a little darker & more heroic in a Batman/Thor sort of way)
