challenges
I just signed up today after hearing about SuperBetter on the radio. But I was surprised and disappointed at how limited the choices were for challenges. The only ones having to do with health were "concussion" and "physical injury." But I think it could be a great support for people who are dealing with illnesses--chronic illnesses like Lyme or autoimmune disorders, cancer fighters/survivors, etc. And I think it would be great if the quests and power-ups, etc. could be more closely tailored to those challenges. I know it would take a lot of work, but so many people (including me) are managing very complex treatment protocols and day-to-day efforts to heal. It would be great if SuperBetter had something for us.

You can make your own quests and powerups and goal. It's all customizable. Don't give up on SB to get better. Best wishes.

I'm with the op here. Managing a neuroimmune disorder, there are many things which act as triggers even though they are generally beneficial for the majority of the population. Some of the treatments themselves have negative side effects which are just dealt with because the benefits outweigh the negative effects. Some power ups, like those involving movement, are actually detrimental in some circumstances.
And I can't find any power ups for things like taking your drugs, which for many of us is an integral part of treatment.
Also, some things are beneficial in more than one way; it would be nice if we could specify if a thing improves both mental and physical resilience, for example. -

I agree that more variety of challenges would be nice, but why not choose "I'm just getting super better" (the game's version of "Misc") and write an epic win that reflects your goal? I've already created several unique power-ups and quests for myself and I've only been playing 2 days - you don't have to use the out-of-the-box offerings, but also... did you see the power packs? Quite a lot of good material in there... I've already downloaded three of them.
I'd love to see if players can submit new power packs... that would be a cool feature for bringing even more specific content into the game.
