How can we improve SuperBetter?

  1. Secret identity avatar

    I love the gamification this app brings to my life. This is the very reason why I like playing games so much. I feel like there is one huge piece to this app missing and that is an avatar.

    I feel like as you level up your avatar should get stronger, unlock different clothes or whatever. Having levels helps one grow but having items to unlock could add a lot to this app.

  2. To-Do list in Ally section - can't ever achieve "Leave a Message or Like"

    I do leave messages and likes for my ally, but they are never ticked off the to-do list (in the Ally section of the site). It doesn't matter if I follow the link or not.

    It's demoralising.

    It would be awesome if the mobile app featured a pedometer that amassed physical resilience points incrimentallu.

  4. Organization

    It would be wonderful to have a way to custom organize power ups, bad guys and quests. At very least one could use a "sort by" option, with options for power ups like sort by: when conpleted, times done, most needed (going by their attained levels of resilience), etc.

  5. Showing the full comment on the activity wall

    When I write a comment only a Part of the sentence I shown If the message is too long. Make longer comments show in full or make every comment klick able to view in full.

  6. Multiple categories for a Quest

    Some Quests encompass all categories, not just one. Maybe be able to choose top two would help.

  7. Quest Organization

    Under the "Past" tab in Quests, you can view all your completed Quests. In Current, however, it's all your completed Quests AND all the quests waiting for you! It's a bit overwhelming, not to mention annoying to dig through everything to find what you still need to do. Please fix it?

    Thought I would say thanks for the inspiring TED talk and your fun game. I've tried all sorts of "self-improvement" packages, books etc in the pst and not found one that I can stick to...fingers crossed with this one, it's certainly captured my imagination :-)

  9. Better Editing!

    Hi there! I've been noticing some editing slips that got by your people. For example, in The Magnifying Glass, it says,

    "Any time you use this disputing tool—you'll learn how to the Quests . . . "
    when it should say
    "Any time you use this disputing tool--you'll learn HOW TO DO THE Quests...." (capitalized only to show correction)

    Also, The Truth Sleuth Part I should say "IDEAL" rather than "IDEA" in the title.

  10. Frequency of Quest Recurrence

    I would like more options to customise the recurrence of quests. For example, it seems the maximum times a quest can recur is once per day, and the minimum once per week. However, there are some quests I'd like to do twice per day [or 14 times/week], others every other week [or .5 times/week] or once per month, etc.

  12. German version

    I think superbetter is a great idea and I subscribed myselfe just today. In my job I work in a school with kids that need help in solving problems, at home, with classmates... -I'm a social worker. I'd love to recommend supperbetter to some of them. Is there a german version of this site? Most of the kids don't know enough english to cope with the english one.

    Crying can be a huge part of one's emotional life. A quest that helps to understand crying or even a badguy/power up would be helpful.

  17. Categorizing and Organizing

    Suggestion 1

    It would be great to sort the Bad Guys and Activities/Quests in to Color/Section specific. e.g. I need to work on Blue. So, I would like to focus on the Blue in the 10m I have atm to play this. I have to dig through them atm and now my other "areas" are grossly out numbered.

    Suggestion 2:
    can you make the vanished items GO AWAY. atm they're greyed out and contribute a bunch of visual clutter to the screen. very annoying and distrating

  19. User Experience

    I wish there was a way to see a list of my recommended quests, meet ups etc. Also an FAQ would be helpful on the home page. The current structure is difficult to research so I can make sure I'm not duplicating quests.

  20. Booklet or App for kids counseling

    I'm a school counselor. I've created a small booklet that I use to apply these concepts with children that I work with. I shared this with one of the teachers that I work with who has a difficult class and she uses the concepts daily in her class. I cited you on the booklet, and I hope it's okay that I have done that. The booklet works okay, but I would love to have a better way to use SuperBetter with my stuggling kids. The concepts are so empowering and fun. If it would be possible to have an app…
