Set a reset time
Set a time where your to do list resets. Ex. I completed a recurring item yesterday but it shows that I already did it today. Which is not the case as I haven't completed it for today. If midnight was my 'reset' then it would show the correct count for today.

Agreed. Even something as simple as setting your local timezone.
