The weight loss focus, can it be revamped?
HI,
I love this app. LOve it. Have recommended it to my daughter who is battling depression. I would love to recommend it to my patients but they are eating disorder patients. Is it necessary to put weight loss as a suggestion in your game. Couldn't people figure that out on their own? Or couldn't it be more proactive and positive and be more centered on empowerment and acceptance of body image and health? I know that losing weight if you are overweight is the healthy choice, but with a sharp increase in ED's for women and now men, we need to change the language. Maybe this sells more, but it would be superbetter if it was more focused on acceptance first. See this link, I love it because they focus on the positive thoughts but still leading to the same goal, a healthy person. http://bravegirlsclub.com/body-restoration/. Really getting fitter and more healthy is always about acceptance, and emotional health, then the rest falls into place. Thank you for an awesome app. I hope to suggest it to patients some day, but can't until the "default suggestions" are different.
