I know I posted some of this in the Mobile App section, but I want to put it here as well to make sure that someone, anyone, from the team that developed, maintained, consulted or helped this project take place can read this:

You should all be so proud. I hope you realise every day how many lives you've saved and how many people you've made better through this. You may not be scientists curing cancer, you may not be solving global conflicts, but what you've made here could have just as much of a profound, positive effect on the world.

I hope one day, the global press find that too and reward you with just as much praise and gratitude as any of the others.

I may not be rich or powerful enough to reward you with much, all I can do is use words, the tools of my trade, to make it abundantly clear that ( hopefully without seeming hyperbolic or patronising) this stuff matters.

Plenty of people will thank you for what you've made here, I can't pretend to be any more important than anything they have to say. But I also know how easy it can be when you have such a constant and massive wave of gratitude to very slowly and subtly, let it start to wash over you and find it hard to feel as much joy for each individual story when there are so many of them. I'm not suggesting it has happened, but I know how easily it can happen without one realising.

So all I would ask, of anyone who can, please just take a few minutes out of your surely hectic working day today and let yourself realise how much of an impact you've made. Allow yourselves the moments of pure joy and utter pride in what you've created.
