Activity wall changes
Recently my activity wall changed from having just stuff that I had done to having all my allies' posts as well. I would prefer to have my stuff only on the activity feed and the "my dashboard" under ally mode to have the combination of my stuff and my allies' stuff. My reasoning for this is Hero mode should be all about me whereas Ally mode is where I assess what is going on in my allies' worlds. An overview of what I have done is important when I'm in hero mode because I want to look at how I am doing as a hero rather than how my allies are doing. Comments that I post on allies' walls should be visible to me under the dashboard but not under the activity wall and should definitely not be visible to other allies which is something I was concerned about when I first started the game (it came up in my activity feed so I didn't know if 3rd party allies could see it when they came to my page).

Could this be something that can be switched on and off? Some people get really motivated by seeing other people achieve things but particularly people with depression tend to think "look at what those people are achieving that I am not" and it perpetuates the problem. I hate logging in and seeing other people's achievements because it makes me think of the things that I haven't done or reminds me how long it's been since I've logged in and makes me feel bad about myself and I'm not yet at a point where I can voluntarily change that attitude. The usefulness of seeing other people's achievements on the hero activity wall depends a lot on the type of challenge that the hero is dealing with.

I haven't really been on superbetter for over 2 months for this reason. Every time I log in I get depressed because my whole feed is all about one or maybe 2 very active allies. When I am on the my activity page I want to see my activity and not my allies' activity.

I have to respectfully disagree with this. I'm fairly new to Superbetter and I LOVED having my allies activities and whatnot show up in my activity list in my dashboard. It made it feel like we were all in it together. I really would like the option to be able to switch this back on. I found it very demotivating when my allies' activities dropped off my dashboard to the point where I had to make myself continue with SuperBetter, rather than it being a fun and positive thing it had been up to that point.

I would like a way to turn off the posts of my allies' activity in my dashboard. I can see those on their dashboard, and don't understand the need for the redundancy. I would like a clean view of what I have done, and a separate view of what they have done. Otherwise, it gets a bit confusing, not to mention tedious, scrolling through all that activity (which is a general complaint I have with the site - all that scrolling!)

I would prefer ally and hero activity to be listed separately. Reloading over and over on the mobile app gets tedious, and when you comment or like activity, your place in the list is lost. I find the UI to be confusing in general

I would prefer my stuff separated from my allies

I find that one of my problems in life is dealing with other peoples' problems and not my own. This change takes away a tool that helps control my boundaries and works against my progress on SuperBetter. It also makes it harder to find comments made by my allies on my progress. If you wanted to create a separate Ally stream that would be fine. I had even created a Quest to designate a time to be Ally and give advice on Forums, but it was on my schedule. It has been said that people can not truly multi-task, so we need to play hero in relationship to our goals and be hero when we decide to be an Ally, not try to do them both at once.

Like *really* demotivating. And yes I am playing the victim and blaming you for my misery :P

I just want to add that I find it really demotivating when I log into superbetter and all I see is the screeds and screeds of stuff my allies have been achieving and I can't see anything I have posted for ages (a combination of me not being on much recently and having very active allies). It really highlights to me that I haven't done anything useful in a long time and other people are 'surpassing' me. It is making it harder for me to get back into the game.
