But people often can't check in daily or may miss a day or two and then when trying to fill things out the wording seems awkward and inappropriate in some cases. Catching up seems hard.

Need to think about ways to make it easy to keep up even if you can't or don't check in daily. Need to word items more flexibly.

This may be partly due to dealing with a chronic condition rather than an acute condition or one where recovery is possibility. Anyway, mostly just that if you miss for a while, it can seem daunting to keep up or get back into it. Afraid that will lead to people abandoning it, so there may need to be some special attention to keeping people going when they aren't or can't be as involved as is ideal.
