Allow us to cut out the weight loss talk/add a HAES option
I practice Health at Every Size. I also work with a lot of clients who are triggered by comments like "doing X will help you keep your weight down." Please allow users to at least customize to a weight-neutral perspective - walking around the block, drinking a glass of water, etc. are good in and of themselves. I don't want to be trying to get better and have my anxiety triggered by being told I should power up by avoiding sugary drinks - I don't drink them to begin with, and I don't need my "game" reminding me that people think my body is bad. BTW, I'm a PhD Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm glad to consult with you on bringing a HAES focus to SuperBetter if you're interested.

Please leave the existing items for those of us who find them useful. Perhaps offering a HAES option would address the concerns without eliminating a resource that others may find useful.

I just asked the same question! It's always SO nice to know there are others on the HAES page!!

I'm using it for weightloss but I deleted all the feed that you include...I made my own bad guys, wich are the triggers that make me eat compulsively, power ups are things that help me lower stress or anxiety because I'm not fat because I'm lazy or don't know what to eat, my problem is about stress, depression and anxiety. My quests are more about learning to control my emotions therefore food intake. Although now I have an urgency to loose weight because I'm close to having heart condition (I have 47.4% of body fat) and kidney and liver disease... Anyway The thing I love about this is that you can delete everything you don't want and customize the app to the PERFECT game for you. I'm so happy feeling like a warrior on a daily quest and now the situations and people that used to feed my anxiety are nothing but cartoon bad guys that I can handle a lot easier. Thank you because I managed to lose 5 pounds this very first week in using Super Better. Hope everyone can get the best of it, just customize it an OWN the game!

Please! This app doesn't know if gaining, losing or stable weight is best for any individual. The assumption that losing weight should always be a goal just adds to body shaming, however unintentionally.

Yeo. The assumption that trying to be healthy is only about weightloss can be very annoying. I don't even think that it needs to be explicitly HAES - though, that's fine - I just think that weight loss and getting healthy are not necessarily the same goal.

I totally agree. I think society is much more tuned into healthy lifestyles at the moment - and that being thin does not necessarily mean either healthy or unhealthy. It would be great to see that reflected in the Power Packs a bit more.

Excellent suggestion. I selected the eating healthy quest -- it's not the weight, it's a quest for health and quality of life.
