You can now only add allies after they have signed up in the game. (Once they have signed up, you can send each other invitations by entering each other's email addresses.)
I have a facebook group Superbetter Discussion Group in which people are looking for allies. There is also a Superbetter yahoo group (not mine) ..... and you can use any email address for a yahoo group, i.e. doesn't have to be a yahoo addres.
