Add the category "Spiritual"; Allow pinning of quotes to help the 3:1 aim; Reduce # clicks required
First let me say: Thank you for SuperBetter. It's a good, good thing (smile). (Aside: When I use caps below, it is not to yell but to create emphasis, since I cannot bold or italicize. My apologies!)
SuperBetter will improve instantly in terms of User Experience once it is possible to input the data (e.g. "I did this" and "I won") simply at the Power-Ups or Quest or Bad Guys page itself WITHOUT THE NEED TO PUSH THE VIEW BUTTON. Might a menu of CHECK BOXES be placed beneath the VIEW BUTTON, along with an ENTER or UPDATE button?
Adding the category SPIRITUAL: Currently I must mislabel spiritual activities that go beyond just one category (e.g. mental or emotional) as ONE of these (either mental or emotional, or even social sometimes.). I could use a category of SPIRITUAL. Example: Worship while listening to "My Everything" by Jesus Culture. It actually feels bad to mislabel it is just mental or just "emotional." It's a spiritual act encompassing the mental and emotional but going beyond.
I love the quotes you embed at SuperBetter, such as "You have tricks up your sleeve." Thank you! Reading them helps me achieve the 3:1 ratio of positive to negative thoughts/feelings.
There are VERY powerful quotes that we are knowledgeable of as individuals, that would speak very pointedly and personally to us, individually. I would LOVE to be able to TAG/PIN them to various pages of mine at SuperBetter, such as my Power-Ups, Quests, and BadGuys pages.
Having these type of sayings/quotes/reminders displayed would help me IMMENSELY to maintain that 3:1 ratio of positive to negative thoughts/feelings.
Example:
- "Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you." ~ Maori Proverb
- "No expectation. Just pure and compassionate action."--Beck, Everyday Zen
- Meditation: May (I, you, __) be well and happy. May (I, you, __) be free of difficulties and trouble.
- For healthy boundaries: "I give to (you, me) that which I should; I receive from (you, me) that which I should."
As I said, having these type of sayings/quotes/reminders displayed would help me IMMENSELY to maintain that 3:1 ratio of positive to negative thoughts/feelings.
Thank you for listening and for your consideration, and congratulations on providing SuperBetter. How beautiful a thing, and how great a service to others!
Blessings!

I wish this weren't so many suggestions wrapped into one. They are all good, but I fear it won't get the votes needed as a result. I found this one while looking for the "spiritual" category suggestion. I do hope others will also vote for that. It feels really weird to me to list an activity such as "yoga with meditation" as physical, mental, or emotional. It's all and none of the above, because it is spiritual. Perhaps that could be an "optional" resilience for those of us who want it?
