  1. Items and inventory

I'd like an inventory section, with magic items and armor. Example:

One of my bad-guys is a multi-headed monster that tries to get me to do half a dozen things at once, which of course leads to me doing all of them badly and feeling overwhelmed and incompetent. But I can't let go of any of them because I'm afraid that if I put them on pause I'll forget to do them at all.

I battle this bad guy with nowdothis.com which allows me to focus on one of them without worrying that the others will be forgotten. It's not…

  2. Make Tracker data downloadable

If you're not going to fix the Insights section, could you please make it possible to directly view the Tracker data? Then we can download it into our own graphs.

  3. Inventory of super items to help on the quests also pets as allies

Maybe this just belongs in the power-up part of the game. But I saw the word inventory and got thinking...A lot of games let you collect items to improve your avatar/character. It could be a sword or a healing potion. For superbetter, what items could help along a quest? Maybe a new pair of walking shoes or a funny t-shirt to wear that encourages you to get outside. I guess we can just list them as power-ups but an inventory sounds interesting to me too.

Second idea. My dog has always been my ally to get me outside walking but…

  4. Chart that compares stats between days rather than being cumulative

Love the insights that are currently available but they don't really motivate me to accomplish more. I think having a chart which starts at zero each day and shows how much resilience I've earned in each of the categories would be a good idea. I could see how today's performance compared to yesterday's and see if I needed to pick up my game. It would be really obvious on this sort of chart if I had been neglecting my social resilience, for example, whereas this information is lost on the other cumulative charts. Incorporating the personal best for each resilience…

  5. Insomnia Power up (or power down?)

I love this idea of taking a gameful approach to life's challenges. It's something I've done in bits and pieces, but never really considered applying in all areas. I'm about halfway through the Superbetter book now, and am really enjoying it.

One thing that stood out to me is your idea of finding words that contain a combination of letters as part of a mental exercise. It reminded me of a game I play when I have trouble getting to sleep. I call it the "Gratitude Dictionary". I imagine I'm holding a dictionary that contains all things in life I'm…

  6. It needs to be more "fun"

I'd also like to be "building" something in the game world - something that represents my personal development - with colors and holes where some more "work" needs to be done.

I could see it being a pyramid or castle or puzzle or ... ?? just about anything.

I had thought of this idea independently (then, I found out you (and others) been doing stuff like this in various forms for almost 10 years)...

I have lots of ideas I'd being willing to share if anyone is interested...

In general, you appear to be doing great work.

  10. Export

It would be fabulous to be able to export some of the metrics into a CSV or Excel for personal QS (quantified self) work. ie number of/type of quests completed.

  11. Add a reminder to do the questionnaire on the "insights tab"

I think the insights questionnaire is great. However there is only a recommendation to do it weekly. I think it would be a great idea to have a reminder on the TO-D0-LIST

  12. Anonymity is the spiritual foundaion of all 12 step programs.

When I read "invenotries" I went looking for 4th & 10th step inventories. Oh well, that not what you mean. I'd love to suggest SuperBetter to many different 12 step recovery programs, if only I understood how to respect the 12 Traditions that keep each program together. Each of the 12 Step programs have their singleness of purpose too. The quest for recovery in 12 step programs really fit with this wonderful SuperBetter site. It's a nice site to help me loose some weight, but man oh man, I want to see it used for so much more! Considerng, it's…

  13. Making Lists

After making a few Power-Ups on SuperBetter I find myself wanting a place to make lists, like 'Things I am Grateful For' list. Adding to them makes me see the long history of good things, so I don't want to make a new entry for each new thing. Right now I am saving these lists in my Secret Lab Notes section. As I make new notes, about my progress and insights, my list entries get lost. It has become a little difficult to find time.
