Looking awesome!
Guys and Gals,
Thanks for all your hard that's clearly gone into this site. I've been really struggling with my depression since my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers. This site really gives me a lift. I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, and look forward to charting more progress toward my goals. If there's anything I can do to help out, say the word.

Thanks
Hi Jane
Thought I would say thanks for the inspiring TED talk and your fun game. I've tried all sorts of "self-improvement" packages, books etc in the pst and not found one that I can stick to...fingers crossed with this one, it's certainly captured my imagination :-)

SuperBetter is changing my life around
Thank you for doing what many psychologists and psychiatrists couldn't. Best investment I've made this year.

I would love to tell everyone on Facebook about this wonderful app. I'm not interested in everyone seeing my progress just advertising the app itself.

Heard about superbetter on NPR radio yesterday. Being 40 years old and playing games for 28 years I think this is a great idea. Thanks
No idea to write, just saying thanks.

I'm having a migraine and I saw your Ted Talk while I was distracting myself from the pain. Happy to be playing SuperBetter. Thank you!

Thank You
Hi, I just want to say your game is helping me so much. I have had anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue since I was 11 years old. I've been trying to get better for years, and now I'm 21 and have the help of SuperBetter. Please, please, please continue to provide this game to world. My life would be worse without it, and so would many others.

Thank you
Thank you so much for making a terrible time in my life bearable. I was inspired to look into SuperBetter when I saw the TED talk about extending your life. I'm 22, studying at uni and about to finish and the whole notion of the big wide world is sending me into the territory of mad anxiety, but I'm already seeing improvements and aim to get SuperBetter at dealing with it :)

TED Talk
Thank you so much. Best 20 minutes I've spent in a long time. Good news is, I will get that twenty minutes back in three days (with change)!
You are awesome!

Everything has ways to get better, but SuperBetter is wonderful
Love your development, your responsiveness to user feedback in forum and here, the colorful site and app, the sounds, and so much more. Just wanted to say that because I think we generally go "MAKE THIS BETTER" first :) It means we use it, right? And I know SB has been keeping me on the ball so far and happily!
Your team is great!

I just need to say thank you for creating this program. I've only just started but it's far better than anything out there and I am tremendously grateful!

A message for Jane
I have only just begun. I saw you speak on Superhacks and I thought I would give it a try on your webpage. I don't know much or understand a great deal of how the website works yet but may the Forces that be Bless and Keep you for doing this. My story was very similar to yours except the damage to my head was done by my now ex-husband to be. Bless you for providing this opportunity and for free. I have a love for you that someone so good could still be out there. Thank you. Merry meet.

Just positive feedback
Not really an I idea, just positive feedback.
Im currently a counseling grad student and I work for an organization that works with children and teens with "behavioral disorders". I work with teens, most of whom battle depression anxiety and ptsd. I just saw the TED talk on Super better and checked it out online. Flipping amazing. I want to start a game with most of my clients. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Alain de Botton / School of Life
Hi SuperBetter community! I've been reading /Religion for Atheists/ by Alain de Botton, and found a section on annotating successes and dictating behaviors with symbolic rewards -- that is, parents tasking their children using 'star charts' -- very relevant to what SuperBetter's project is. I'll cite two sentences but you can track down the text on Amazon's search inside this book pp75-77.
"If the idea of an adult star chart seems odd but not wholly without merit, it is because we are aware, in our more mature moments, of the scale of our imperfections and the depths of our childishness.…

Meshes perfectly with my current life needs
I had prepared myself a big list of goals for the upcoming year only a week before I stumbled on a link to Jane's Ted Talk for SuperBetter. My resignation toward checking off another year's worth of tedious goals was erased once I started playing the game. I have not felt this supported or uplifted in years -- what was once a tiresome, boring exercise in goal setting has become a fun, playful, engaging hour or two a day practice for me.The game has helped me to like achieving again, and is helping me overcome my frustration over making a…
