different allies, different goals
It is great the superbetter has focused me on one goal (because my tendency is to adopt too many), but the truth is that i am facing both a challenging personal situation AND a challenging professional one, and I'm using superbetter to cope with both. I need very different allies for those two challenges, and there are powerups that I have not created because I would not want professional allies to see some of the personal things I'm wrestling with.

Easier ally-adding -- not just email, and not just one-on-one
Right now I can only add allies one at a time, and only if I know their real-world email. I'd like to be able to (a) use someone's SuperBetter username to add them by clicking through on the site, and separately to (b) post a general link to, for example, twitter, that anyone clicking on it (and more than one person) can by simple clickthrough become my ally.

A way to see details on the things your allies are working on
A way to see details on the components (power-ups, bad guys, quests, etc.) your allies are working on, in ally view, to better understand their efforts and plans; maybe with some way to suppress this for ones players want to keep private.

I Want To See Who Liked An Activity
Either a pop-up, or some other way to see who it was who liked an activity, in the web version of the game. Currently, while I can see that for instance an activity has '1 like', as I already have two allies, I don't know who's actually done it. It would help when discussing things with my allies to not have to muddle through the awkwardness of sorting that out.

No Ally Dashboard.
I had at least two ally's but my dashboard would only show me one. Then the 'one' suggested we were not a good match so I deleted her. Now I have no Ally dashboard at all.
Is there a problem with seeing more than one Ally? How do I see my other allies? Please help

Multi-user quests
I'd like to see quests that are made for allies, basically things to do together, or just the ability to make any quest a shared one - for example taking a walk to relax together when people can't find enough motivation to do so on their own, and then the quest is marked as done only when all participants have marked it as done.

Ally Things
Within the app I'd like to be able to do more than like or comment on my allies' activities. Like the website, I'd like to be able to assign quests, power ups, and achievements in the app.

The 'My Activity' feed and the 'Ally' feed should look different
Specifically, my 'Ally' feed SHOULD NOT have anything from me in it! It makes it really hard to find my Ally activity.
I don't mind if their stuff shows up in my feed by default, though a 'just me' button might not be bad.
Also, definitely expand comments by default SO I CAN READ THEM. Making it a click-to option makes it very hard for me to make myself do it, given the particular Bad Guys I battle. At least, a setting somewhere where I can choose to have them auto-expand?

Simplify Adding Allies
Ally requests should work like a social network: I would have to approve the request and be able to add them back simply. The current system is very confusing.

Give more feedback to allies!
I have sent a quest and a power-up to my hero, but after I sent them, I got no feedback at all. They are nowhere to be seen, I don't have any information about their status or whether my hero even saw them. It's quite discouraging not to get any feedback. This is the type of things that can get a good idea to fail.
I'd like to have a list of the quests and power-ups I've sent and an status report about their completion.
Hope you add that soon!
Thanks!

Why am I seeing messages from my Allies' allies in my Activity Feed?
I should not be able to see messages from my allies' allies when I am on my own Dashboard, in hero mode. This is very confusing and disturbing from a privacy standpoint.

Exchanging custom Powerpacks for Self Help Books we read
The idea has two parts: (1) Making custom Powerpacks, and (2) Letting Allies download them.
For example, if I want to practice the "7 Habits" or "The Happiness Advantage", a Stephen Covey Powerpack, or a Shawn Achor Powerpack should be customizeable so that I can share it with my allies.
It is so much more powerful to be bound by a book/field of work. It gives meaning as well as structure to following a book rather than simply thinking of some day in the future when you will follow it up.

Anonymous Allies
I absolutely love this app, and I certainly buy into the science that third party support "Allies" is crucial for any person. I think many users would benefit from some sort of 'anonymous ally' system, where users seeking similar (or complementary) SuperBetter-ness could give mutual encouragement, giving the option to maintain a level of privacy in one's personal life.

Being able to message your allies/friends!
I'd love to private message my allies. This should have some sort of 'inbox' and a page to send (multiple!) people a personal message.

See the allies progress in the app
It would be nice to see the progress of your allies in the activity field in the app, not only on the computer

Ability to add allies to reach out to who don't have to join the game directly
I'd really like to be able to list people as an ally and keep that separate from having them have to join the game. Like a REMINDER that "these are people I can reach out to" - partially because one of them is my mom who doesn't have email (and doesn't want to have email - I KNOW).
77 votesHah! I think we all have relatives like that :D It’s a totally legit point I’ll keep in mind as I design. Obviously for business purposes we like to get as many people into the game as possible, but there are always going to be those for whom the game just isn’t working/isn’t fun/isn’t what they want to engage with, and that doesn’t mean they couldn’t still be perfectly legit allies to someone the game DOES work for. Hm hm hm! Excellent point; thanks for bringing it up.

Check-In Reminder / History
It would be awesome if accepting a Check-In from an ally actually did something. Once accepted, it seems to just disappear into the ether. It would be great if there was a reminder, maybe on the ally page, right below the name of the ally who scheduled the check in.
In general, I'd love to have a history of suggestions... but I think I put that under another request ;P

Add allies from Twitter and Facebook friends.
I would like to be able to send ally requests to twitter and Facebook friends rather than just via email.
I actually don't know most of the email addresses for some of my better friends online.
12 votesThanks for the suggestion! We’re definitely considering this and other ways to make the ally invite process easier. ~Rose

Quest / Power Ups / Enemy suggest by Ally
Sometimes, our friends know us better than ourself.
If Ally can pass a quest / power up / enemy to us, we could decide whether to accept, it might be a challenge. Ally could as well set the award for this quest / power up / enemy.
5 votesThis feature is currently available through web! You can accept the activities on mobile, but can’t send them through mobile yet. This is in the plan for a future release. Thanks! Rose

Would be great to "blanket" a comment to all allies
At times I would like to send a power up or Quest to all of my allies. Right now, I have to do this one at a time. It would be great to set up a method for for sending something to multiple allies.
